Whitmore Bedrooms Refunds and Returns Policy

This policy explains returns and refunds for purchases made through the Whitmore Bedrooms website. It sits alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. How to request a return
Email hello@whitmorebedrooms.co.uk with:
Your order number
The item(s) you want to return
The reason for return (optional for standard cancellations)
Photos (required if damaged or faulty)
2. Change of mind returns
If your order is eligible, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To qualify:
Tell us you want to cancel within 14 days of delivery
Return the goods within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling
Take reasonable care of the item and return it in a condition suitable for resale
If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.
3. Bespoke and made-to-order items
The 14-day change of mind right does not apply to items that are made to your specification or clearly personalised, for example custom sizing, custom finish requests, or bespoke changes. If an item is treated as bespoke or made-to-order, we will make this clear before production begins.
This does not affect your rights if a bespoke item is faulty or not as described.
4. Return costs and collections
For change of mind returns, you are responsible for return costs.
For large items, we may be able to arrange collection. If we do, we will confirm the collection cost in advance and it may be deducted from your refund.
If you arrange your own return, you are responsible for the item until it reaches us. We recommend using an insured service for large items.
5. Refund timing and method
If your return is accepted, we will refund you within 14 days of:
receiving the returned goods, or
receiving evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier
Refunds are made to the original payment method.
6. Delivery charges
Where you have paid delivery charges, we will handle refunds in line with your statutory rights. Return and collection costs are not refundable for change of mind returns.
7. Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

We will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights
8. Notes on natural materials and finish
Natural materials can vary in grain, tone, and character. These variations are not faults. Colours and finishes may also appear different depending on lighting and screen settings.
