2. Use of our website

By using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.

You must use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, upload malicious code, scrape or extract data without permission, or use the website in any way that could harm us, the website, or other users.

We may suspend, restrict, or withdraw access to the website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, or where we believe these Terms and Conditions have been breached.

3. Access and account

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our website.

To use certain features of the website, you may be asked to provide information including your name, email address, billing details, shipping details, and payment information. You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity carried out through your account.

4. Orders

4.1 Placing an order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket.

4.2 Acknowledgement and acceptance

We will confirm receipt of your order by email. This does not mean your order has been accepted.

Your order is accepted when we send an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation, or when the goods are delivered, whichever happens first.

4.3 Refusal or cancellation of orders

We may refuse or cancel an order if we cannot fulfil it, if product or pricing information is incorrect, if payment is not authorised, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you.

4.4 Personal use

Products sold through our website are intended for personal or household use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Prices and payment

5.1 Pricing

Prices are shown in GBP. VAT is included where applicable unless stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and any optional service charges will be shown at checkout or confirmed separately where applicable.

5.2 Changes to prices

Prices, promotions and discounts may change at any time before you place your order.

5.3 Payment

Payment is taken at checkout unless we explicitly agree an alternative arrangement in writing.

Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card details.

5.4 Billing information

You must provide current, complete and accurate billing, payment and account information for all purchases.

6. Product information

6.1 Descriptions and images

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, measurements, images and prices are accurate.

6.2 Colour and finish variation

Images are for illustrative purposes only. Colours and finishes may vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings and device display.

Natural materials can vary in grain, tone and character. These variations are not faults.

6.3 Dimensions and access

Product dimensions are provided as guidance. You are responsible for checking that items will fit into your property and through access points before ordering.

6.4 Product changes

We reserve the right to amend product descriptions, specifications or availability where necessary, including where changes are minor and do not materially affect the product.

7. Delivery, placement and access

7.1 Delivery area

We currently deliver to mainland UK. Some areas, including the Highlands and certain postcodes, may require an additional charge. Where this applies, we will advise you before delivery and provide a quote if needed.

7.2 Delivery charges

Delivery is free within 40 miles of WF17 6JS. For addresses beyond this radius, a delivery charge of £30 per item applies and is payable upon delivery unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

Where a higher charge applies for specific postcodes, customers may be asked to contact us for a quote or we may contact you to confirm the cost before delivery.

7.3 Delivery method and placement

Standard delivery is to the doorstep.

If room placement is requested, our delivery team may be able to take items into the room of choice for an additional fee per item. If you would like room placement, please leave a note at checkout and we will confirm the cost before delivery.

7.4 Assembly and delivery condition

Most items arrive fully assembled. Very large items may be designed to separate for access into buildings.

Furniture may arrive with light dust from manufacturing and transport. We recommend wiping down surfaces before use.

7.5 Arranging delivery and lead times

Once your order is confirmed, we will contact you by phone or email to arrange a delivery date.

Standard deliveries take place Tuesday to Friday.

Many items are made to order, so please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your order to be ready for delivery unless stated otherwise on the product page.

7.6 Delivery windows and delays

Delivery dates and times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, vehicle issues, supply issues, or courier availability.

If a delay occurs, we will contact you and arrange the next available delivery date where possible.

7.7 Weekend delivery

Weekend delivery may be available on request. If you require weekend delivery, please leave a note at checkout or contact us after ordering and we will confirm availability and any additional charges.

7.8 Customer responsibilities

You must ensure the delivery location is accessible and suitable, including door widths, staircases, lifts, corridors, and parking restrictions.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, customer unavailability, or an unsafe route, we may need to rebook delivery and additional charges may apply.

7.9 Risk

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered.

8. Ownership

Ownership of products passes to you once we have received payment in full.

9. Cancellations and your consumer rights

If you are buying as a consumer in the UK, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9.1 Standard online orders

For eligible products, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods for any reason.

To cancel, email hello@whitmorebedrooms.co.uk with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

9.2 Bespoke and made-to-order items

If your item is made to your specifications or clearly personalised, for example custom sizing, custom finish requests, or other bespoke changes, your legal right to cancel within 14 days may not apply.

We will make clear before production begins if an item is treated as bespoke or made to order.

10. Returns and refunds

10.1 Cooling-off returns

If you cancel an eligible order within the cooling-off period, you must return the goods within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel.

10.2 Return costs

Return costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

For large items, we may be able to arrange collection. If we do, we will confirm the collection cost in advance and it may be deducted from your refund.

10.3 Refund timing

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

10.4 Reduced refunds

We may reduce the refund if the goods show handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them or if they are returned damaged.

Further detail is set out in our Refunds and Returns Policy.

11. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

11.1 Inspection on delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

11.2 Reporting an issue

If goods arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us promptly at hello@whitmorebedrooms.co.uk with your order number and photos where possible.

11.3 Remedies

Where a product is faulty, you have statutory rights. We will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances.

13. Third-party tools and links

Our website may include tools, integrations, or links provided by third parties.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or operation of third-party websites, tools, or services. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and may be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

14. Privacy

Any personal information we collect through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our website is powered by Shopify and some data may also be processed by Shopify in order to provide and support the online store.

15. Feedback and reviews

If you send us feedback, reviews, suggestions, or other submissions, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content for the purpose of operating, improving, or promoting our business and services.

This does not affect your ownership of your own content, but you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We may remove reviews or submissions that are unlawful, misleading, abusive, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

16. Errors and inaccuracies

Occasionally there may be information on the website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, delivery charges, lead times, or availability.

We reserve the right to correct any such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to update information or cancel orders where necessary. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you.

17. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • breach of your statutory rights as a consumer

  • any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited

Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable.

If you are buying as a consumer, we are not liable for business losses including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, accidents, supply disruption, transport issues, strikes, or carrier delays.

Where this happens, we will keep you informed and arrange an alternative delivery date where possible.

19. Termination and restriction of access

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the website or any user account where reasonably necessary, including where we believe these Terms and Conditions have been breached or where needed for security, technical, or operational reasons.

Any rights and obligations which by their nature should continue after termination will continue to apply.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

21. Waiver

If we do not enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions, that will not be a waiver of our right to do so later.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any policies referred to in them, set out the entire agreement between you and us in relation to purchases made through our website and your use of it.

23. Governing law
